Our programs are designed specifically for children and focus on the development of a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as respect and discipline. In addition, the programs are designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions

While emphasizing forms training, the solo empty hand or weapons routines which have always been of great importance in Kungfu, we blend basic and complex movements inherent to our art, including stances, kicks, punches, balances, jumps, sweeps and throws.

MODERN FIGHTING SPORT INFLUENCED BY TRADITIONAL CHINESE BOXING

Chinese Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)  includes Kungfu Kickboxing and Combatives, more correctly called Sanshou, is a modern fighting method and sport influenced by traditional Chinese boxing, Chinese wrestling methods, and other Chinese grappling techniques. Sanshou appears much like kickboxing or Muay Thai, but includes many more grappling techniques. Sanshou fighting competitions are often held alongside taolu (forms) competitions.

A TIME-TESTED ART WHICH GENTLY EXERCISES THE BODY AND THE MIND

Tai Chi (Taiji) is a time-tested art which gently exercises the body and the mind. It can be used for health, longevity, mental freshness, and spiritual development. Taiji aims at well-being, including the attainment of grace and balance, the promotion of physical and emotional health, and the development of energy flow. The movements of the more popular forms of Taiji are slow-paced, non-impact and not strenuous.
