CMAA’s own specialized kids class – the Grasshopper Kungfu Program
For children age 7-12 CMAA has developed a specialized children’s program. The Grasshopper Kungfu program is designed specifically for children and focuses on the development of a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group.
Help your child discover the joys of martial arts!
Here at CMAA we believe in providing a fun and safe learning environment while instilling the traditional values of martial arts, including self-discipline, respect, concentration and courtesy.
Do your children play sports?
If they do, martial arts are a great way for them to stay active and cross-train in the off season.
However, martial arts are also a great alternative for children who prefer individual sports, giving them the ability to flourish at an activity which allows them to focus on being their own personal best.
CMAA has developed a ‘Sash System’.
This ranking system, similar to belt systems commonly found in other Asian martial arts, allows for students to systematically progress through our standardized curriculum. Students are able to focus on individual achievement as they advance through our ranks, becoming proficient in all areas of Wushu practice.
Between our Grasshopper Program (ages 7-12), our Kungfu (Forms) Program (ages 13 and up) and our Kungfu Kickboxing Program (ages 14 and up), CMAA is sure to offer classes which best suit your child’s needs.
